Another Mother's Day without my Mother
I had a strange dream about Mom last night and now I only have what seems like insignificant pieces of it. How ironic considering today is Mother's Day.
If Mom were still here we'd likely go to Kin Lin's or, if I had any influence, China Tom's. Maybe we'd watch a flick together, but we'd definitely talk a lot about news and politics. Sounds like an awesome Mother's Day to me.
I still think about Mom every day; I guess I just don't have anything new to say. It still sucks not having her in my life. She was my best and closest friend and she was without question the best mother anyone could have.
