Brooks Best: May 16, 1940 - November 14, 2007
With the deepest sorrows, I write to inform the world that my Mother, Brooks Best, left us to pursue the next journey.
Mom, we love you. We all love you. Our world, and my world, will never be the same.

As my father said when I told him about his younger brother's passing: "What a happy welcoming party they must be having right now in heaven!"
Alas, you have left this world and what a difference you made in so many lives. I will miss you, your laughter, your compassionate caring for others. Your legacy lives on.
Thank you Kris for keeping your Mom's blog alive and my heartfelt condolences go out to you and your siblings.
Brooks love, may God bless you and keep you safe in HIS arms until we meet again.

You are my friend and I will miss you very much. I know that in this space, we are so small in comparision to the rest of the world that we have yet to learn and know, But you made me feel apart of something much bigger than myself, and for that I am honored to have had the privilege to know you and have you in my life. You showed my daughter and myself the kind of love that lingers around like a beautiful mist right after a morning rain. I will mostly remember your laugh and hugs that you gave so generously. I wish I could have had more time with you here, but I will never forget you and will keep you in my heart forever.
We Love You Nina.
